Apfelwein Solzer in Frankfurt

Delicious meal. Very friendly staff. Until now, I've never had to wait long for my orders. From my point of view there is really nothing to complain about. I'm already looking forward to my next visit in the new year after the lockdown.

I'm not saying anything now ..... the landlord was already through at 6 pm and completely lost track of the few people who were collecting. The kitchen staff wasn't too keen and you just hear everything when you stand in the hallway and have to wait.

Our favorite place for schnitzel, we love it here! The atmosphere is wonderfully rustic and the food arrives quickly. We keep coming back here with great pleasure!

As tourists, we were happy to try the local cider. Unfortunately we chose the wrong place here, as the waitresses were very unfriendly and at the same time rude. At the entrance area, a gesture is used to give you a slap in the face just because you ask a question and the waitress rolls your eyes rudely while paying - probably because more sales were desired. All in all, not a restaurant that we would visit a second time.

All in all it had been pretty good. The soup tasted a bit artificial and was very bland. The main meal was good and definitely plentiful. The price-performance ratio is definitely right. The hygiene and distance concept also fits.

Nice cider bar, cozy atmosphere, you can sit outside in the inner courtyard (though you sit quite tight there). The portions are generous and reasonably priced

We were there last Friday and we really enjoyed it! You can sit well distributed in the inmenhof and there is enough space for large groups because of the large seating options. Due to the pandemic, the owners have installed transparent privacy screens so that people can sit together more protected overall. Prices are okay too. We liked the food and the protons were good too.

"Served until midnight", as it says on the door, is unfortunately a lie - at 11:27 p.m. we wanted to show our visit to this traditional Frankfurt pub for a drink, at the entrance we were told it was now the last round, we can choose a place. When we arrived in the garden (we didn't want to sit inside due to the corona), it was said that the last round was over and if the colleague responsible for the indoor area has let us in, we should sit down with her. Thank you for this Frankfurt hospitality towards our guest!

Remarkably motivated and nice waitresses. From the telephone reservation to the order to the payment a pleasure. Not only those who have paid to be insulted in the "Painted House" (or another tourist trap in Dribbdebach) will appreciate that! The quality of the food is good or absolutely reasonable for the price (there is still something possible with schnitzel, green sauce and potato salad are great.)

Qualitatively one of the best from all over Frankfurt. Generous rations at reasonable prices. Service is very good and you are served quickly. Gladly again and again!

The food and ambience are impeccable in themselves. There is another serious problem: Covid 19! On August 25th in the evening in the men's toilet, three urinals were far too close together. No disinfectant available. The paper towel dispenser empty. Many guests walked around without covering their mouth and nose. The waitresses did not react in the area that I could see.

We walked 30 minutes in the cold to try this place. I loved it. Staff was very nice. Were able to find someone that spoke English and they had an English menu. We tried the Schnitzel with fried potatoes and green sauce. I'd definitely go again. Great atmosphere. Glad yelp led me here. Recommend

Exceptionally good food, very friendly staff and cleanliness characterize this place for me, which is why I always like to go there. A strict menu, rich and yet clearly arranged, does not make the choice difficult.

Cozy, unpretentious traditional restaurant with good food and Apfelwein. The garden is really nice, and they often show football matches there when Eintracht is playing.

Very good food but unfortunately far too long waiting times. Whether during the week or on weekends, the service is super slow, especially for larger groups. They are all friendly, the drinks are good and the cleanliness and the atmosphere fit. If now a little horsepower would be put on the road, it would be great.

Love this place, every time I visit Frankfurt I must eat there. Great schnitzel, sausages and also dessert! And if you are not a fan of Apfelwein they offer beer as well.

Real good local food!

It was good experience to have food here. Just like all the popular places, it would be a good idea to reserve a place beforehand. They had a nice menu to select from. Would not recommend it if you are looking for calm and ambient restaurant, but otherwise, definitely worth a visit..

Authentic German kitchen, friendly staff, democratic prices

Apfelwein Solzer is an institution in Bornheim. They have giant portions, and several drink options. Parking is a challenge, however it is close to the north entrance of the U4 at Bornheim Mitte. The Pfifferlinge Schnitzel is wonderful and on offer during late summer, early fall. Service is quick and efficient. The tree in the middle of the garden makes dining a really special experience. Good for groups, make sure you make a group reservation.

The food was delicious and the portions were large, yet the prices were reasonable. I can recomend it, especially if you like traditional german meat dishes and wild mushrooms
